Bio

My name is Sophie and I graduated in African studies with a focus on Swahili language and a minor in Economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

I have a background in entrepreneurship, product management and design thinking and am very interested in business models and technologies that make the world a better place, especially in the ICT4D field.

Working across different regions of East Africa allowed me to become a proficient Swahili speaker.

I’m currently based in Dar es Salaam, working as a freelance researcher and Swahili translator.
